1. Product description: 001x4FG Gel type strong acid cation exchange resin
Strong acid cation exchange resin 001X4FG is a low cross-linking degree of
gel type strong acid cation ion exchange resin, compared with the 001x7FG,
it contains higher water content and lower Total Exchange Capacity.
001x4FG is widely used
for extraction of antibiotics, drug purification, sugar desalination, amino
acid extraction, hard water softening and preparation of drinking water.

3. Packaging Details & Delivery

2. 1x20FCL container can hold max 25000 liters, with pallet (50bags/pallet total 20pallets)
3. 1x20FCL container can hold max 30000 liters, without pallet
4. As for 001X8, 001X7, 001X6.5, 001X4, 1 cubic meter = 1000 liters = 0.8 ton, 1 PE bags = 25liters = 20 kilograms
5. As for 201X7, 201x4, 1 cubic meter = 1000 liters = 0.7 ton, 1 PE bags = 25liters = 17.5 kilograms

6. Pretreatment of cation
exchange resin:
a. Clean water
After
the new resin is installed, it should be washed or soaked with normal
temperature water (hot water at 50-60℃ is better)
until the water is clear, colorless or less foams.
b. Dilute HCL
solution treatment
The
concentration is 4-5%, the dosage is 2-3BV(2 to 3 times the volume of resin),
the flow rate is 1-1.5BV/hr, and then the resin is rinsed with clean water
until PH to above 5.
c. Dilute NaOH
solution treatment
The
concentration is 4-5%, the dosage is 2-3BV(2 to 3 times the volume of resin),
the flow rate is 1-1.5BV/hr, and then the resin is rinsed with clean water
until PH to below 9.
d. Ion form
transformation of resin
According
to process requirements, when using hydrogen ion form, The operation steps can
be c first and then b; when using sodium ion form, The
operation steps can be b first and
then c; Generally, the new resin is
treated twice as described above.
e. Put into use.
7. Caution:
a. Eye irritant, avoid contact with eyes. in case of eye contact, immediatly flush eyes with plenty of clear water for 10 minutes.
b. Avoid child contact.
c. Dry resin on
floors may cause falls.
